How does it work?

I interview and record the person remembering one for one hour in the comfort of their own home. This is a relaxed, companionable chat, with plenty of time for breaks and tea.  After the visit, I transcribe and edit the recording, transforming the conversation into a carefully edited document written in the first person.​​

Each session includes:

• A home visit, including one hour’s recorded interview.

• Transcription and editing of the narrative.

• A printed A4 document of the memories, plus an electronic copy in Word format.​

 

If you choose to book multiple sessions to build up a more in-depth set of recollections, the stories told can be compiled into one cohesive document.

There is no large upfront commitment. Start with as little as one session.
